App Sitter is a digital service that provides families with an effective tool for managing mobile devices. All processing of personal data takes place in accordance with Norwegian law.
In App Sitter, we process personal information for the following purposes:
When logging in via other services, such as Facebook, we receive some personal information.
When you download the app or use the web solution, you can choose to share extra contact information with us so that we can give you better customer follow-up via our support system.
When you download the app or use the web solution, we receive data stored in the App Sitter's database. App Sitter can send information requests to your mobile devices, which you have consented to by registering them in the App Sitter. The responses from the mobile devices may contain some personal information, depending on the features you choose to use in the App Sitter. As long as remote management is activated on the device, it will respond to such requests. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deactivating remote administration from the device.
To be able to send administration commands to an Apple mobile device, App Sitter must store the device's unique identifier (UDID). This identifier is only used for this purpose and is never shared with other parties.
Information received from the mobile devices is only used for the service/function offered by App Sitter. You will be able to see at any time the information stored in the App Sitter and unregister one or more devices to delete all related data.
When using our services, we collect information about your activity, including what App Sitter services and web pages you visit and how to use them. The information is used for statistical purposes and for troubleshooting error situations, in the app. It can be divided into the following types:
The application collects aggregated and anonymized usage data for statistics purposes via third-party solutions. This is done to understand how the application is used and improve the services it provides.
App Sitter records personal information about users of the service. Alerts can be sent to you via email or app / push notification. You must actively and voluntarily give consent that App Sitter processes information you provide yourself. You do this by downloading the app from the app store, or using the web version, and signing in.
The data controller in in charge of the purpose of the processing of personal data. Tie AS is data controller for App Sitter.
The information is shared only with the users that you have given access to your family account.
App Sitter is built on cloud services. Tie AS has agreements with the cloud service providers regarding data processing. Separate data processing agreements regulate all personal data that is shared with these service providers. The subcontractors may not use the information for any purpose other than that for which they were obtained.
Personal data will not be stored longer than what's required to fulfill the purpose of the processing. All data about you, and the mobile devices you have registered in the App Sitter, will be deleted when you delete your App Sitter account. You can choose to do so any time.
You have the right to access your own information. If the information is incorrect, incomplete or should not be processed, you may also ask us to correct or delete the information.
We record your behavior / use of the app for statistical purposes, but only in anonymous and aggregated form.
We have established routines and measures at various levels to ensure that unauthorized persons do not have access to your personal information, and that all processing of the information is otherwise in accordance with applicable law. The measures include regular risk assessments, review of technical systems and procedures to maintain a high level of information security.
